Its summer. Hard to believe that the babies will be 5 months old on June 20th (summer solstice!) We have had a few glorious days of sunshine - a sweet break from the gray rains of June. We sit on our deck - with little ones in floppy hats blinking in the sunshine. Its a sweet thing.
The little ones are getting bigger...rounder. They love to smile and laugh. Man - I love those smiles.
We spent Fathers Day with our dear friends Susan and Steve. They came over from Friday Harbor to play with babies. We all went out to Lummi to the Stomish. (babies first Stomish!) Ross has students in the canoe races. It was a day of wind and chilly sunshine- but it was fun to get out and meet a lot of Ross's students and colleagues from Lummi Tribal School. Good folks!
